The Miss Goldsboro and Miss Goldsboro’s Teen programs are official preliminary competitions to the Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina’s Teen pageants. These programs provide a unique opportunity for young ladies to gain valuable pageant experience as well as life skills. The competition is intended to encourage and reward scholastic achievement, communication skills, talent, and community service. Miss Goldsboro 2026 and Miss Goldsboro’s Teen 2026 will be crowned on November 22, 2025 at the beautiful Paramount Theatre in Historic Downtown Goldsboro.
To compete in the Miss Goldsboro Scholarship Pageant, contestants must meet the following criteria:
■ Be a female between the ages of 18 – 28.
■ Meet residency requirements for competing in Miss Goldsboro Scholarship Pageant (please read the Miss NC contract carefully for more details).
■ Must be a resident of North Carolina, or employed full-time in person, or enrolled full-time as a student at an accredited school/college.
■ Meet criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization.
■ Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.
■ Actively develop a community service initiative.
■ Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the Miss Goldsboro Board of Directors.
■ Be willing to participate in five phases of competition including:
- Private Interview with Judges’ Panel
- On-stage question
- Evening Wear / Social Impact Statement
- Lifestyle & Fitness
- Talent (1 minute, 30 seconds)
Miss Goldsboro is required to attend Work Weekend and Miss North Carolina pageant week.
